Halloween is the scariest night of the year. On every 31 October there are loads of Halloween traditions. If you go to a party, expect stuff like : Scary fancy dress; Making pumpkin lanterns; Trick or treating; Bobbing for apples; Telling ghost stories ! All around the world, people celebrate spookiness.
So some believe !
You would have to agree with me that today Halloween is most definitely not a holy evening!! This annual event is far from the harmless, innocent tradition it is promoted to be. Many dread this "holy" evening as they think what could happen to them, their property, and/or their children! Consistent with its historical roots, this evening is characterized by fear, and frequently arouses dormant fears in many. The fear generated by this event is symbolic of the fear which plagues so many in our modern, morally bankrupt world. It is a gripping fear for an unknown and very threatening future, a fear caused by a gnawing inner emptiness.
But not everyone likes celebrating Halloween. Some religious people believe that making a game out of evil spirits and witches is wrong.

W'kum salam uncle Din! Sihat ker hari ni? Famili all ok kot?
ReplyDeleteOrang kita kena ada prinsip/ jati diri. Bila ada prinsipal apa saja akan dirujuk kepada paksi kebenaran ! Seeloknya berlandas Islam sebagai pegangan/ gaya hidup kita orang Melayu. Sumber lain untuk prinsipal kita mungkin khazanah ilmu, pengalaman, kajian orang lain, apa saja yg bermakna - walaupun drp orang kafir harbi - dll.
Maka tu, kita akan lihat orang kita dah lama hanyut dengan kepercayaan karut, tahyul, khayal + menyesatkan. Tak, orang kita memang tak sembah syaitan iblis tapi masih caya + guna kuasa jin, hantu untuk kepentingan mereka. Berdaulat + berkuasa?
Perkara ni melarat hingga kepercayaan orang kita tak boleh perintah dengan Islam sebab pelbagai alasan yang 'meyakinkan' orang ramai yang sememangnya lemah pegangan/prinsipal mereka tu. Ya, some intellectuals pun ada yg hanyut + tak kuat pegangan mereka tambahan kalu boleh diumpan habuan atau ugut kepentingan duniawi mereka.
Orang kita tak sambut Helloween TAPI masih sambut + rai "Syaitan yang dikenali". Malah caya 'tanpa 'setan' tu kita semua susah, huru-hara. Omg !
